Why Spices?
Spices are an amazing tool when we have the knowledge behind them.
They are so helpful, not only because the spices themselves are healthy for us but actually almost more importantly because we eat food everyday and we can add spices to every meal. It is one of the best ways to get a regular dose of medicine, because while they are delicious that are exactly that, medicine.
How Spices?
The general idea for quantity is one teaspoon per serving, so if you are cooking just for yourself then 1 teaspoon is all you need. For every additional serving/person then you can add an extra teaspoon.
To get the benefits of spices you should make sure to add them at the end of the cooking process. Meaning when you have turned off the pot or pan, afterwards you can add your spices and mix them into the meal.
Where/When Spices?
The awesome thing about spices is they can go on everything, what will change is simply the kind of herb or spice we would use.
The only thing we would suggest is to start off simple and go from there. This is because you can over complicate your dish with too many spices. But once you learn how they work and mix then you can easily add 10 spices or more to a meal.
Who Spices?
Anybody and everybody should be using spices in their lives. The tricky part can be finding which specific spices are good for you, unfortunately because everybody is different you will have to talk to someone like us, or do your own research and experimentation.
